Academia Răra Neagră is the identity document of the proud native variety with the same name. The creation of this wine involved the symbiosis of several key elements: the diverse terroir, the vines that perfectly convey the music of the soil, an absolutely unique harvest year and, last but not least, the passion and courage of the winemaker. Fermentation in a clay amphora and a short rest in an oak barrel allowed us to obtain a pure wine, which evolved without the involvement of other factors. A wine produced from the best grapes from Moldova, cleaned, cooled and allowed to follow its path to fermentation in a natural way, which nature has painted in an intense ruby ​​with violet reflections and perfumed with aromas of cherries and plums. Breaking away from market trends, this dry red wine with velvety tannins has a taste that cannot be confused with any other wine to date. The Rare Black Academy proudly carries in its DNA the strong character of the Moldavian people. 100% Rare Black The quantity of bottles bottled for the 2019 Rare Black Academy is very limited - 4632 bottles. This number, in turn, is not accidental, but has its roots in the actual location of the Purcari terroir on the world map, being the place where the Rare Black grape variety is grown with dedication and care.
