Salcuta Tămăioasă is an elegant wine with a refined rosé color, showcasing a suite of intense aromas of rose petals, aromatic herbs, and white cherries. On the palate, notes of barberry stand out, followed by a long aftertaste, supported by an attractive freshness. Made from grapes hand-harvested at the end of September and vinified using the traditional method, the maceration process is short to ensure the color does not shift towards that of red wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vessels at a controlled temperature of 14°C - 16°C, with lees aging for 1 to 3 months. It is an excellent choice to pair with seafood such as lobster or caramelized salmon, as well as light dishes like rice or any type of salad.
